Wiz Khalifa Collaborates With Adele And Miley Cyrus For New Album

Rapper Wiz Khalifa has teamed up with Miley Cyrus and Adele in the studio.

The Black and Yellow hitmaker will release Blacc Hollywood later this year (13) and has enlisted some big names for the record, but none of the songs have been cleared yet.

He says, "I got a lot of guest appearances that I've already done, but none of them have been cleared for the album yet. I got songs with Miley (Cyrus), I got songs with Adele."

Wiz Khalifa has also revealed he wanted to collaborate with Lady Gaga, but has had a hard time linking up with the pop superstar.

He continues, "I want to do something with her really bad."

Jack Nicholson To Retire From Acting Due To Memory Loss

Jack Nicholson will no longer be appear on the big screen as the movie legend is set to retire from acting for good, a report from Radar Online has revealed. With more that half a century worth of work the triple Oscar winner has quietly retreated from the movie industry for good, due mostly to his failing memory and certain health concerns related to his old age.

Having shied away from any roles since 2010's How Do You Know, it has been revealed that his retreat from acting is down to his decision to call time on his profession and enjoy his retirement. A Hollywood insider told Radar, “Jack has — without fanfare — retired,” adding, "There is a simple reason behind his decision — it’s memory loss. Quite frankly, at 76, Jack has memory issues and can no longer remember the lines being asked of him. His memory isn’t what it used to be.”

Although there has been no word from the acting legend himself about his supposed career move, his absence from Hollywood movie sets of late has been a telling sign that his career in front of the camera is coming to an end. He was recently approached to play the lead in the upcoming film Nebraska, but ultimately told producers that he had no interest in appearing on film any time soon. He may not be acting anymore, but that doesn't mean he will become a hermit and go into hiding though, which is great news because it could spell more moments like this run in with Jennifer Lawrence at the 2013 Oscars.

Lady Gaga Thrills Tlc Pair With Old Song

Lady Gaga held back a new song she has handed to Tlc stars Tionne 't-Boz' Watkins and Rozonda 'chilli' Thomas because she feared it sounded too much like a Tlc tune.

The Paparazzi singer has written Posh Life for the duo's comeback but the Waterfalls singers reveal Lady Gaga originally penned the song for herself.

Watkins says, "She was like, 'I don't want to disrespect the girls'. We were like, 'Let's sing it and see how it goes. I mean, you wrote it.' It was so funny hearing her sing like us... I was just like, 'Why not sing it then?' She was just like so excited and we're excited."

Thomas and Watkins are now hoping their new pal will join them in the studio: "She wants to, (but) you know them record company people. If it was up to the artist, all three of us are down. So we'll see what happens."

HBO Will Finally Stake True Blood In 2014

True Blood will finish in 2014. The show has just finished its sixth season and there will be one more before the HBO series will come to a final halt. The announcement was made on Tuesday (3rd September) by HBO's President of Programming Michael Lombardo. He said "Together with its legions of fans, it will be hard to say goodbye to the residents of Bon Temps, but I look forward to what promises to be a fantastic final chapter of this incredible show."


The show follows the adventures of Sookie Stackhouse, a waitress from Bon Temps, Louisiana who is pitted against - in romance and otherwise - vampires, werewolves, shape shifters, fairies and an assortment of other supernatural creatures. True Blood has catapulted a number of actors into the limelight and has even forged a marriage during its five year run. Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, who play Sookie and her main love interest Bill, met on the show and married in 2010. Other stars of the show include Alexander Skarsgard, Rutina Wesley, Ryan Kwanten, Nelson Ellis and Joe Manganiello.

Robbie Collin of The Telegraph gave a glowing, five-star review of the film, which he described as an "astonishing" feat that will leave audiences "entranced and terrified" at the same time. He goes on to mention that, in a largely dialogue-free setting, Scarlett give a superb and chilling performance that may just be her best to date, as she wanders purposely through Glasgow to harvest human with masterful acting ability. As for Glazer's direction, he seems to pinpoint where people may have disagreed with the film, stating that the director "leaves you to make sense of his images by yourself, or simply to wallow in them when you can’t."

WASHINGTON — A week ago, it seemed the question of whether to take military action against Syria rested solely on the shoulders of President Obama.

But he has turned to Congress to authorize military airstrikes against Syria for using chemical weapons, setting up the most consequential foreign policy vote since the 2002 authorization of the Iraq War.



Obama and his supporters on Capitol Hill will have to overcome broad skepticism about the merits of military strikes and navigate the political divisions that have left Congress largely paralyzed.

The vote also cast a spotlight on key lawmakers who will be critical in determining whether or not Congress authorizes Obama to use military force. Congress is still on recess, but the arm-twisting has begun and the Syria resolution will be the first order of business in both the House and Senate when they return Sept. 9.

Los Angeles: Eating kiwi fruit can help in better digestion, new research says.

According to research, the green kiwi fruit has enzyme actinidin, which is not present in any other fruit. This enzyme can deliver enhanced gastric digestion, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“Although somewhat already recognised as a natural digestive aid, this research focused on the role of kiwi fruit in the breaking down of food protein that can be particularly hard to digest in comparison to other foods,” Nele Moorthamers, European marketing manager of kiwifruit exporter Zespri, which conducted the research, said in a statement.

“Kiwi fruit is rich in actinidin which breaks down protein quicker and more effectively than digestive enzymes can do alone, making kiwi fruit a perfect choice to overcome digestive issues,” added Moorthamers.

The study promotes the use of kiwi fruit as a part of an individual’s daily diet.

As they head towards the stables everyone comments on how refreshing it is. It's a healing place. Or in Joe Guidice words, "It smells like sh*t." Plus 7 for keeping it real Joe. We expect nothing less.

Wyatt tells this motley crew that when they're not being authentic, the horse can pick up on it. Energy is his language. I wouldn't blame the poor creature if he took off at a full gallop and never looked back.

Everyone thinks this is a bunch of hooey until Wyatt takes one look at Richie and tells him that he creates jokes so he doesn't have to pay attention to what he feels. Plus 20. Nailed it.

It also comes out that Richie has a lousy temper and yells at Kathy when he's aggravated. Somehow the fact that he drives his wife to tears on a regular basis is a shocker to Richie even after decades of marriage. Minus 30.

OK. Show of hands…who thought Juicy Joe was taking a phone call from his mistress? Yeah, me too but it only turned out to be Milania. But the look on Teresa's face made me wonder if she was worried too.

The Gorgas and the Guidices can't get the poor horse to raise his hoof. Not a good sign.

But plus 27 to Joe Guidice for actually admitting that he's scared about his legal issues and giving his horse technique another go.

When Melissa doesn't know how to handle the horse, she falls back on her instincts…or as Wyatt dubs it, her "whore on a stroll walk." Plus 33. This guy is good.

He also explains that there's a difference between being nice and being manipulative. If you're being nice you're not expecting anything in return. Ha! When was the last time that happened between Melissa and Teresa?

In one of the most touching moments, Albert opens up about being abused as a child and Wyatt terms Caroline Manzo's support of her husband a "thing of beauty." Plus 22. Then Caroline turns around and handles that horse like a pro.

The aftermath of the day is even more telling.

Kathy realizes her voice deserves to be heard, even when her husband and the other Housewives seem to drown her out.

Of course Teresa describe this breakthrough as, "Kathy's having one of her Marcia, Marcia, Marcia moments." Minus 13 Damn Teresa. Heaven forbid it's not all about you.

As the rest of the group walks away with the knowledge that sometimes the more vulnerable you are, the better off you'll be, Teresa and Melissa decide the therapy was a waste time. They don't have any insecurities.

……OK. I'm sorry. I couldn't stop laughing. Or should I be crying because I can't decide whether that is funny or sad.

At least Teresa made the effort to approach Jacqueline. Jacqueline admits that Teresa is like the horse. She's afraid if she gets too close she might get kicked. Good analogy.

WHO confirms that the basketball star, 32 – reportedly battling drug addiction – has been in touch with wife Khloé Kardashian Odom, 29, amid reports he has disappeared for more than 72 hours.

"She hasn't made any decisions yet about what to do," a source says of the reality starlet's marriage. "Right now she's just leaning towards trying to get him help."

The athlete's agent Jeff Schwartz told ESPN on Monday, "Lamar is not missing. His wife knows exactly where he is. Playing in the NBA is still very much a part of Lamar's plans."

Breaking NEWS: Floods affect Sino-Russia border trade

Beijing: The recent floods and storms in China's northeast regions have hit trade with Russia, Xinhua reported Wednesday.

The floods, which have so far claimed 85 lives and left 105 missing, are the worst to hit the region in more than a decade, and have prompted the closure of six river ports in China's Heilongjiang province.

"There has been barely any business since the closure of ports. I have been on a daily losses of around a hundred dollars for nearly a month," said Qiang Zhanjun, a wholesaler at Tongxin market in Tongjiang city, a major trading centre in Heilongjiang.

"August and September used to be boom season for Russian traders purchasing clothes, shoes and household appliances in China, but the floods have meant cancelled contracts," said Yu Xueping, chief of Tongjiang Customs.

Tongjiang, one of the most important river ports for frontier trade with Russia, witnessed an import volume of $25 million and exports of $236 million in 2012, according to Yu.

The port closed Aug 8 due to rising water levels on the Heilongjiang river, and the impact of the flood is expected to last till the end of September.

Imports may decline 70 percent when compared with the same period last year, Yu said.

Traders in Fuyuan port, 65 km away from Khabarovsk city in Russia, used to get thousands of visitors from Russia daily, but now are feeling the pinch.

Teng runs a business selling digital products and kitchen utensils. She said the floods and closure of Fuyuan port meant she was "losing a mink coat every three days".

Chu Yinting, a general manger of Tongxin Trade Co. Ltd, said the ports in Russia also suffered from the floods.

"Even if the ports reopen in September, the resumption of trade will take time," Chu said

Breaking news: US Hunger Strike: Prisoners on hunger strike close to death in California

Dozens of California state prison inmates have been staging a hunger strike for more than seven weeks, prompting a federal judge last week to approve a request to force-feed them if necessary.


Officials with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said on Tuesday that 92 inmates have been refusing prison-issued meals since July 8, when nearly 32,000 of the system’s 133,000 prisoners began the hunger strike.

The inmates are protesting the holding of gang leaders and other violent inmates in solitary confinement that can last for decades.

“We want to be prepared. Rather than wait for the situation to become critical, we wanted to have that order in place should it become necessary to assist in the refeeding of an inmate,” said Michael Stainer, Acting Director of Division of Adult Institutions for CDCR after a judge approved the force-feeding measures.

Dr. Steven Tharratt, director of medical services for the federal official who oversees medical care for California’s prisons, said if the state employs force-feeding, it’s most likely to be done by pumping nutrient-enriched fluids into the bloodstreams of unconscious inmates.

State prison officials have struggled to deal with a hunger strike that started last month and, at its height, involved thousands of inmates.

There are 46 inmates who have refused anything more than water, vitamins and electrolytes since July 8 to protest the yearslong isolation of gang leaders.

Marie Levin, the sister of Pelican Bay SHU inmate and hunger strike organiser Ronnie Dewberry, spoke of her dismay at the treatment of her brother and the other prisoners.

“My brother is willing to go to these extremes because of the conditions they are being treated under. The inhumane treatment has been horrendous all these decades.
And he’s saying that now we’re going to do something about it. It’s like, enough is enough,” said Levin.

Monday’s order by US District Judge Thelton Henderson of San Francisco could come into play.

He has given state officials permission to disregard inmates’ do-not-resuscitate directives if the officials believe the inmates acted under duress, for instance under threats by gang leaders who organised the hunger strike on behalf of inmates held indefinitely in California’s Security Housing Units.

Many of the hard core strikers are likely to reach crisis stage in the next two weeks as they reach 60 to 70 days without significant nutrition, added Dr Tharratt.

Breaking news: 20 killed in Kenya's inter-clan clash

Nairobi: At least 20 people were killed and more than 15 others got injured Wednesday in fresh inter-clan clashes in the northern Kenyan border town of Moyale, an official said.

Deadly skirmishes between Borana and Gabra communities broke out early Wednesday in Moyale in Marsabit county, which is less than a km from the neighbouring Ethiopia, bringing panic across the restive region, Xinhua reported.

"I can confirm as the leader in charge of the county that 20 people were killed in five spontaneous attacks on five villages in the town. The fighting started early in the morning and has subsided," Marsabit County Governor Ukur Yatani said.

"Five people were killed in Manyatta Burji, four in Odda and the rest were killed in Funan-Nyatta, Sessi and Helu. Those killed were from the both feuding clans and the including children and women," he added.

Fighting between the Borana and Gabra communities began in December 2011, mostly over control of resources such as water and grazing land but the conflict has also been linked to politics.

Moyale district has been the scene of recent tribal clashes involving mainly Borana and Gabra communities of Kenya. In February, more than 30,000 Kenyans crossed into neighbouring Ethiopia following an inter-communal conflict in the region.

US launches rocket carrying spy satellite

Washington: A rocket carrying a spy satellite lifted off from the Vandenberg Air Force Base in the US state of California Wednesday, sources said.


The United Launch Alliance, a joint venture of Lockheed Martin and Boeing, announced through its Facebook and Twitter webcast that the satellite was launched on a Delta IV Heavy rocket, the largest of the kind, at 11:03 a.m. local time, Xinhua reported

However, it did not say when the satellite would enter the orbit.

The launch was named as the NROL-65 mission as it was done for the National Reconnaissance Office, which is in charge of US intelligence-gathering satellites, according to the sources in United Launch Alliance, which also developed the rocket together with the US Air Force.

Details about the satellite is not available. But a report in the Los Angeles Times said the payload in Wednesday's launch is said to be "a $1-billion high-powered spy satellite capable of snapping pictures detailed enough to distinguish the make and model of an automobile hundreds of miles below."
